Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 3 years of experience in bar or event management within the hospitality industry
  • certification in responsible alcohol service like TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol
  • strong leadership and team-building skills
  • excellent customer service and interpersonal communication
  • proficiency in point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
  • knowledge of beverage varieties and mixology techniques
  • availability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays

  • 3+ years of experience in bar or event management or a similar role within the hospitality industry

Job Duties

  • manage all aspects of bar operations at the designated venue including staff
  • ensure bars are adequately stocked and prepared for each event
  • maintain high standards of beverage quality and presentation
  • monitor beverage stock levels and order supplies as needed
  • implement inventory tracking systems to reduce waste and prevent theft
  • manage cash handling procedures and reconcile sales
  • prepare sales reports and assist with budgeting
  • ensure adherence to all local and state alcohol service laws
  • enforce health and safety guidelines within bar operations
  • engage with clients to understand their needs and preferences
  • address guest inquiries and resolve any service-related issues
  • work with event coordinators to align bar services with event themes
  • participate in planning meetings as needed
  • available to work at other events when not required at the primary venue
  • adapt to varying event requirements and locations
