Job Requirements
- Less than high school education or one month related experience, training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Availability to work second and third shifts and/or weekends if required
- Valid state-issued driver’s license with current address and acceptable driving record if driving company vehicle is expected
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic with American money
- Maintain neat and clean appearance with uniform at all times
- Ability to stand, walk, use hands for cash handling regularly
- Ability to work outside in various weather conditions
- Ability to occasionally sit, climb or balance
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
Job Qualifications

- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one customer and employee interactions
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using basic two-digit numbers and American currency
- Neat and clean appearance with complete uniform at all times
- Valid state-issued driver’s license if driving company vehicle is required
Job Duties
- Arrive at work every scheduled day, on time and in a neat and clean uniform
- Courteously assist customers by answering any questions they may have
- Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces
- Count vehicles on location throughout shift, as needed
- Write and issue violation warnings to tenants and visitors that violate garage policies
- Patrol transient and reserved parking levels on foot or in motor carts, if applicable
- Provide assistance to customers that have forgotten where they parked their vehicle
- Give directions and inform customers of various locations in the city
- Control traffic at entrances and exits as needed
- Report any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the manager
- Communicate debris, water, oil spills and other hazards to management
- Ensure successful customer interactions
- Count bank money at the beginning of the shift
- Collect cash and/or coupons and maintain security of cash
- Make change and issue receipts or tickets to customers
- Verify shift transactions and complete cashier shift report
