Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Comfortable performing in a full-body mascot costume for extended periods
- Strong communication and guest-service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs and assist with event setup
- Available to work weekends and some weekdays during peak seasons
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines related to costume handling and guest interaction
Job Qualifications
- Comfortable performing in a full-body mascot costume for extended periods
- Strong communication and guest-service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs and assist with event setup
- Prior performance or mascot experience is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Perform as a Kemah Boardwalk mascot character during scheduled events, photo ops, and promotional moments
- Maintain high energy, positive body language, and character integrity while in costume
- Interact with guests of all ages in a friendly, welcoming, and safe manner
- Assist the Events Team with setup, breakdown, and on-site logistics (tables, signage, activity stations, etc.)
- Support event activities such as crafts, games, meet-and-greets, and crowd engagement
- Follow all safety guidelines related to costume handling, heat management, and guest interaction
- Collaborate with the Events Team to ensure smooth event flow and exceptional guest experience
- Represent the Kemah Boardwalk brand with professionalism and enthusiasm at all times
