Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years old
  • Experience in cash handling and public contact preferred
  • Criminal background check required for hire

  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Ability to handle money accurately
  • Ability to operate cash registers
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Must be at least 16 years old

Job Duties

  • Sell and issue tickets, receiving money, check or credit card payments, giving correct change as appropriate, check credentials of non-paying attendees
  • Provide superior customer service and interaction with staff and guests
  • Answer guests' questions and resolve guests' conflicts or escalate difficult issues to the Aquatics Center/Stadium Operator or responsible administrative staff
  • Count, balance, and resolve overages/deficiencies in balancing currency for concession booth
  • Perform cash register close-outs including register reports and ensuring appropriate monies are placed in bank bag for the next event
  • Prepare and sell concession items to stadium patrons
  • Count and prepare pre and post-event inventory of concession items
  • Make note of any maintenance needed in the concession area and ensure lead operator or administrator is aware of needed supplies and/or maintenance issues
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
