Job Requirements

  • One year experience or experience working with and organizing events, social schedules, conferences, or equivalency
  • Demonstrated human relations and communication skills
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service

Job Qualifications

  • One year experience or experience working with and organizing events, social schedules, conferences, or equivalency
  • Demonstrated human relations and communication skills
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service
  • Accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred
  • Ability to type 45 words per minute may be required

Job Duties

  • Plans, coordinates and follows-through with details for special events including social activities, conferences, educational seminars, receptions
  • Maintains a financial accounting and cost analysis report for each individual event
  • Manages events on-site and provides assistance to attendees and faculty members
  • Assists supervisors in evaluating program effectiveness and making adjustments for future events
  • Responds to questions and phone calls from event participants and faculty members
  • Makes travel arrangements for visitors
  • Maintains files, records and a computer database on event details and participants
