Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum two years of purchasing experience
- at least one year of food and beverage purchasing
- ability to communicate in workplace primary language
- ability to prepare and analyze data using computers
- skill in math and budgetary analysis
- knowledge of federal, state and local employment and safety laws
- physical ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and push or pull carts up to 250 lbs occasionally
- ability to sit for extended periods
- manual dexterity to operate equipment
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent required
- bachelor’s degree or higher preferred
- minimum of two years purchasing experience especially in consolidated purchasing
- at least one year of food and beverage purchasing experience
- proficiency in written and verbal communication
- strong analytical and budgeting skills
- ability to negotiate contracts
- knowledge of labor laws and safety regulations
- physical ability to perform job duties including lifting and mobility
Job Duties
- support other food and beverage outlets from time to time as necessary
- speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace
- read and write to facilitate the communication process
- communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- prepare and analyze data, figures and transcriptions generated by computer including accounting programs, Microsoft Word and Excel
- perform math skills and budgetary analysis
- negotiate and write contracts, agreements and performance requirements
- understand federal, state and local laws governing employment, safety, wage and labor relations
- sit at a desk for up to 6 hours per day
- occasionally walk and stand
- lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs occasionally
- reach other departments on a timely basis
- use manual dexterity for operation of equipment
- communicate continuously with guests, supervisors and subordinates
