Job Requirements

  • must be a current University of Utah student
  • high school diploma or equivalent required
  • ability to work 15-19 hours per week with flexibility
  • ability to work on campus including two Fridays and two Saturdays per month
  • ability to work occasional evenings
  • ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • professional appearance
  • strong communication skills
  • reliable and detail-oriented

Job Qualifications

  • must be a current University of Utah student
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in event assistance or hospitality preferred
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • professional phone etiquette
  • ability to work effectively under pressure
  • detail-oriented and efficient
  • ability to work independently and in a team
  • professional attire required

Job Duties

  • assist with planning preparing and executing events
  • coordinate event activities and operations
  • support event takedown and post-event debriefing
  • manage front desk coverage including answering and screening calls
  • maintain and order office supplies
  • sort and distribute mail
  • communicate with prospective students via phone email and in-person interactions
