Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in event coordination or operations
  • Proficiency with event registration and marketing tools
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Willingness to participate in professional development training
  • Ability to assist with general office and accounting functions

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, event management or related field preferred
  • Proven experience in event coordination or operations management
  • Proficiency in online event registration systems and marketing platforms
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Experience with corporate accounting support or Salesforce is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Basic knowledge of office administration and HR processes

Job Duties

  • Coordinate all event marketing including social media, e-marketing and print
  • Oversee and execute marketing plans working with Event Director and Graphic Designer
  • Build and update online event registration pages
  • Oversee program logistics including sponsors, speakers and honorees
  • Assist in event execution including venue planning, registration management and event setup
  • Participate in long-term event planning and theme design
  • Maintain shared filing of event documents and communications
  • Support newsroom production reporting and coordination with newspaper printer
  • Assist corporate accounting with cash management, Salesforce administration, accounts receivable and invoicing
  • Manage general office needs including equipment maintenance, supply orders and liaison with building management
  • Coordinate new employee onboarding and serve as local HR resource
  • Assist in local all-staff meetings
