Job Requirements

  • ba/bs degree
  • minimum 5 years of related work experience
  • highly organized and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • able to work events, multiple shifts, long hours, weekends, and holidays
  • able to move quickly throughout arena

  • familiarity with event production and venue operations

Job Duties

  • serve as primary on-site point of contact on behalf of the venue to ensure successful event execution
  • develop an understanding of departmental policies and procedures for event coordination and planning
  • communicate with various departments to inform staff of event needs
  • develop and update production notes and schedules
  • patrol and inspect the building prior to events and take corrective action as needed
  • identify and manage issues during events to ensure excellent client service
  • assist in enforcing venue rules, policies, and procedures
  • collaborate with the University of Louisville on NCAA game operations
  • work with Box Office and production teams to develop CAD drawings for ticketed events
  • collaborate with finance to estimate production costs
  • compile and review MOD report notes following events
  • coordinate with first aid providers to assign appropriate staffing
  • create and submit staffing plans to third-party providers and internal departments
  • create and present cost estimates to Finance and General Manager
  • serve as escalation point for guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints
  • enforce venue security policies to ensure safety
  • document incident reports and communicate emergencies to executive management
  • provide training, support, and guidance to guest services and security staff
