Job Requirements

  • Ba/bs degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of related work experience
  • Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, resolving conflicts as necessary
  • Exhibit excellent leadership, problem-solving and communication skills
  • Able to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Must be able to work events, multiple shifts, long hours, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Able to move about quickly throughout arena

Job Duties

  • Serve as primary on-site point of contact for events
  • Develop understanding of departmental policies and coordinate event planning
  • Communicate with departments to inform staff of event needs
  • Develop and update production notes and schedules
  • Patrol and inspect facility to ensure readiness
  • Manage and resolve issues during events
  • Enforce venue rules, policies, and contractual obligations
  • Collaborate with University of Louisville for NCAA games planning
  • Work with Box Office and production teams on CAD drawings
  • Collaborate with finance to estimate production costs
  • Compile and review MOD reports and follow up on issues
  • Coordinate with first aid providers for event staffing
  • Create and submit staffing plans for guest services
  • Create cost estimates for events and present for approval
  • Serve as escalation point for guest inquiries and complaints
  • Enforce and regulate venue security policies
  • Document incidents and communicate with management
  • Provide training and support to guest services and security staff
