Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a related field preferred
  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel Word and electronic health record systems preferred
  • Must be able to work scheduled hours including weekends
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • A minimum of 6 months’ experience in a related field is preferred
  • Experience with Excel Word and electronic health records preferred

Job Duties

  • Answers switchboard directing calls and taking messages as appropriate
  • Process Notice of Admissions Arrivals and obtain authorizations from a variety of insurance carriers and complete disenrollments of clients from treatment
  • Completes Post Discharge Contact Calls to clients with follow up from treatment
  • Greets visitors and notifies appropriate staff of their arrival
  • Notifies manager or nurse on duty of any issues or emergencies in the waiting area
  • Responsible for handling clients' drop offs from friends and family members following proper procedure
  • Responsible for direct client care as needed
  • Additional related duties as assigned
