Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a related field preferred
- Ability to use Microsoft Excel Word and electronic health record systems preferred
- Must be able to work scheduled hours including weekends
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- A minimum of 6 months’ experience in a related field is preferred
- Experience with Excel Word and electronic health records preferred
Job Duties
- Answers switchboard directing calls and taking messages as appropriate
- Process Notice of Admissions Arrivals and obtain authorizations from a variety of insurance carriers and complete disenrollments of clients from treatment
- Completes Post Discharge Contact Calls to clients with follow up from treatment
- Greets visitors and notifies appropriate staff of their arrival
- Notifies manager or nurse on duty of any issues or emergencies in the waiting area
- Responsible for handling clients' drop offs from friends and family members following proper procedure
- Responsible for direct client care as needed
- Additional related duties as assigned
