Job Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university
valid CPR/First Aid certification
knowledge of green cleaning principles and CIMS certification requirements
knowledge of electronic tracking systems such as MAXIMO, SAMS, TAMS, JAMS
knowledge of regulatory standards, hospital standards, and facility management
knowledge about regulations for SDS, Fire and Safety, Hazard Communications and Bloodborne Pathogens
minimum three years’ experience in custodial supervision and administrative duties
demonstrated ability in building service management, equipment and chemical application
janitorial/custodial experience preferred

Job Duties

Comply with all agency policies and procedures and follow contract specifications
manage and supervise custodian assignments for the cleaning crews for a specific shift/area assigned
evaluate/supervise assigned custodial staff
maintain a positive relationship with staff members
assign, oversee, and inspect the cleaning activities of the custodial staff assigned to meet contract requirements
schedule general janitorial services per contract specifications
train employees in proper cleaning procedures
identify and correct sub-standard cleaning procedures and processes
maintain daily log of cleaning discrepancies
report maintenance issues to management
work with inspectors to resolve cleaning problems
review inspection reports and ensure corrective action
complete and submit necessary reports
manage time and attendance records
conduct safety training
attend management meetings
maintain communication with airport operations center
react immediately to custodial emergencies
