Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- valid CPR/FR certification
- knowledge of green cleaning principles and CIMS certification requirements
- knowledge of electronic tracking systems such as MAXIMO, SAMS, TAMS, and JAMS
- knowledge of regulatory standards, hospital standards, and facility management
- knowledge about regulations for SDS, fire and safety, hazard communications, and bloodborne pathogens
- minimum three years experience in custodial supervision and administrative duties
- janitorial/custodial experience preferred
- demonstrated ability and knowledge of building service management
Job Duties
- Comply with all agency policies and procedures and follow contract specifications
- manage and supervise custodian assignments for the cleaning crews for a specific shift and area assigned
- evaluate and supervise assigned custodial staff
- maintain a positive relationship with staff members
- assign, oversee, and inspect the cleaning activities of the custodial staff to meet or exceed contract requirements
- schedule general janitorial services in accordance with contract specifications
- ensure compliance with dress code and personal hygiene standards for self and staff
