Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years culinary experience in a commercial kitchen
  • Ability to work evening shifts from 7 p.m. to 3:30 a.m.
  • Ability to supervise kitchen staff
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations
  • Competence in menu development
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willingness to engage in client satisfaction initiatives

Job Qualifications

  • A.S. degree or equivalent culinary experience
  • Progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • Experience in catering preferred
  • Knowledge of high volume, complex foodservice operations
  • Valid driver's license
  • Proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Office
  • ServSafe certification is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of food quality, sanitation, and cost controls

Job Duties

  • Assist in supervising food preparation and cooking
  • Collaborate with Executive Chef on menu planning and development
  • Manage cost controls and expenditures for the culinary department
  • Produce and execute catering events
  • Implement new culinary programs in line with marketing and company strategies
  • Supervise hourly kitchen associates
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
