Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 6 to 12 months of receptionist experience
  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Basic computer proficiency and typing skills
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and multitask
  • Ability to work evenings Monday through Friday
  • Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening
  • Physical ability to lift up to 20 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to communicate efficiently in English using proper grammar in a pleasant manner
  • 6 to 12 months working as a receptionist
  • Computer skills, typing, and experience with other business machines are very desirable
  • Ability to handle a multiplicity of routine tasks following specific and general instructions
  • Passion for seniors

Job Duties

  • Opens and closes the reception desk and properly secures all files, keys, and equipment
  • Communicates to the appropriate parties, promptly and clearly, all messages and material directed to them
  • Completes work duties in adherence with established policies and procedures
  • Accepts and records, as directed, payments, reservations, appointments, cancellations, and the like
  • Accepts, sorts, and delivers administrative mail
  • Acts as back up support for the Concierge and accepts, sorts, logs, and delivers all incoming packages and parcels when necessary
  • Assists Residents with re-entry to their Independent Living apartment in the case of a lockout
  • Completes reprogramming and creation of keycards as necessary
