Job Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- must have at least one-year work experience in a clinical setting or equivalent customer service role
- must have exceptional customer service skills
- familiarity with insurance benefits is a plus
- must be computer literate with basic knowledge of MS Office products and general office machines
- must have the ability to multi-task work in a fast-paced work environment and demonstrate team cooperation

Job Duties
- Greets customers in a polite prompt and helpful manner
- provides necessary instruction or directions to patients
- informs appropriate department or person of customer arrival
- updates patient information including insurance cards driver's license authorizations and referrals
- administers tablets for completion of personal health information privacy policies and financial policies
- collects co-payments deductibles and outstanding balances such as out-of-pocket expenses
- gives detailed explanation of benefits and financial agreements
- answers phones in a pleasant manner and deals with customer needs expeditiously
- schedules follow-up appointments as required by physician teams
- enters charges into computer system
- prints charge tickets and necessary paperwork for next day clinic
- balances daily collections with time of service payment summary report and prepares deposit slip
- carries out appropriate actions related to hold and practice buckets daily
- accepts deliveries logs and distributes to appropriate parties
