Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior food service experience preferred
  • availability to work full-time including evenings and weekends
  • completion of sanitation course within first year
  • ability to multitask and lead a team
  • strong communication skills
  • must maintain food safety and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

  • Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
  • complete a sanitation course before or during first year
  • knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective food service program
  • ability to perform basic arithmetic
  • maintain emotional control under stress
  • ability to resolve interpersonal situations
  • strong organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Produce and maintain work schedules and prepare production packets
  • reliably cover PM hours and adjust schedules based on business needs
  • direct daily activities
  • maintain food production ensuring safety and quality according to policies
  • ensure safe, organized, and hazard-free food storage
  • maintain serving schedules in compliance with menu specifications and company procedures
  • uphold sanitary department standards following health and safety regulations
  • maintain accurate weekly inventory
  • prepare orders to ensure accurate production
  • supervise, evaluate, and counsel employees promoting growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork
  • maintain a safe working environment
  • train and mentor staff
  • keep logs on equipment maintenance
  • complete food safety and temperature logs with corrective actions
  • perform preventative maintenance checklists
  • recommend replacement of equipment
  • multitask proficiently
  • perform duties as requested by management
  • fill in for absent employees
  • manage catering event preparations and timing
  • work occasional night and weekend catering events
  • attend staff food service meetings
  • maintain communication with staff and office
  • perform cashier duties as needed
  • promote good public relations
