Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food service or supervisory role preferred
- ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- knowledge of health and safety regulations
- ability to communicate effectively with team members and management
- capacity for multitasking and handling stress
- preferred completion of sanitation training program
Job Qualifications
- Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
- complete a sanitation course before or during the first year
- knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program
- skilled in basic arithmetic
- maintain emotional control under stress
- ability to resolve interpersonal situations
- strong organizational skills
Job Duties
- Produce and maintain work schedules and prepare production packets
- reliably cover PM hours and adjust to schedule changes
- direct daily activities
- maintain food production safety and quality
- ensure safe and organized food storage
- maintain serving schedules and adhere to menu specifications
- maintain sanitary conditions following health codes
- maintain accurate inventory weekly
- prepare orders as needed
- supervise and evaluate employees and promote growth
- maintain a safe working environment
- train and mentor food service workers
- keep maintenance logs for equipment
- complete food safety and temperature logs with corrective actions
- perform preventative maintenance
- recommend equipment replacement
- multitask efficiently
- perform other duties as requested by Food Service Director or Manager
- fill in for absent employees
- maintain knowledge of catering events and ensure timely delivery
- work occasional night and weekend catered events
- attend staff meetings
- maintain communication with staff
- perform cashier duties as needed
- promote good public relations
