Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Facilities maintenance experience a plus
- Possess a valid Oklahoma driver's license and have an acceptable driving record
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Facilities maintenance experience a plus
- Ability to interpret and follow instructions and warnings, especially in the use of equipment and cleaning supplies
- Ability to safely operate heavy equipment
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to work independently with minimal or intermittent supervision
- Reliable, dependable, and punctual attendance
Job Duties
- Mop, sweep, wax and polish floors
- Clean and dust furniture, equipment, etc.
- Collect and dispose of wastepaper and refuse
- Vacuum carpeted areas where applicable
- Perform routine maintenance to custodial equipment
- Maintain sanitary lavatories and restrooms
- Clean up spills (including bodily fluids) in a safe and appropriate manner
- Verify by initialing daily tasks performed on duty lists
- Assist with snow and ice removal
- Drive District vehicle to transport materials and supplies and to travel from campus to campus
- Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to affect continuous improvements in services to customers
- Perform related duties as assigned
