Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • degree in hospitality management preferred
  • previous experience in a culinary role preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook a diverse menu of items according to established recipes and presentation standards
  • assist in prepping ingredients including chopping, marinating, and portioning food items
  • ensure timely food preparation to meet service demands and exceed guest expectations
  • maintain a clean and organized workstation while adhering to all safety and sanitation guidelines
  • monitor and uphold food quality during preparation and cooking, ensuring flavor and presentation align with resort standards
  • collaborate with the culinary team to develop seasonal menus and specials, providing ideas for new dishes
  • assist with managing inventory including receiving and storing food products while reporting shortages
  • support kitchen operations by cleaning and sanitizing all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
  • follow health and safety regulations to maintain compliance with food safety standards
  • engage in team meetings and foster a positive, collaborative atmosphere in the kitchen
