Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in food preparation or related culinary role
  • Knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work evening shifts and adapt to flexible scheduling
  • Certification in food safety required or willingness to obtain it
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • Prior involvement in food preparation or a related culinary function
  • Comprehensive understanding of food preparation principles and cooking techniques
  • Awareness of sanitation practices and food safety regulations
  • Certification in food safety preferred or willingness to achieve certification
  • Basic skills in mathematical operations and counting
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Cook and prepare meals as per standardized recipes and guidelines for production
  • Organize workstations with required ingredients and equipment
  • Prepare ingredients by chopping, trimming, measuring, and mixing
  • Properly use kitchen utensils and equipment such as knives, ovens, stoves, and mixers
  • Make meals using baking, broiling, roasting, and steaming methods
  • Arrange and serve food with attention to visual presentation
  • Adhere to food safety procedures and store food appropriately
  • Sanitize kitchen zones, equipment, and utensils to prevent contamination
  • Ensure excellent customer support and maintain a positive attitude
  • Follow all safety and sanitation measures outlined by Aramark
  • Preserve the integrity of company assets
