Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior hospitality experience preferred
- ability to obtain and maintain an active Lancaster County Food Handler and Responsible Beverage Service Training Certification
- excellent conversation and etiquette skills
- strong interpersonal, listening and communication skills
- ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- detail-oriented and able to multi-task
- professionalism in workplace conduct
Job Duties
- Monitor club lounge for seating availability, service, safety, cleanliness and well-being of guests
- act as an ambassador of the Hotel by providing special assistance and information about local area attractions
- use a clear, understandable speaking voice, exercise judgment, respond to inquiries with accurate information on outlet operation hours, local attractions, meeting rooms, car rentals and shuttle services
- gather, summarize, and provide information to guests about the property and surrounding area amenities including special events
- facilitate all transactions to ensure a positive guest experience including greeting and welcoming guests
- maintain stock, prepare and properly store all snacks, garnishes, juices and perishables daily to ensure quality
- maintain glassware inventory and cleanliness
- adhere to all state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations
- perform general cleaning tasks to maintain health standards
