Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
  • Ability to lift 1 to 5 lbs and occasionally up to 32 lbs and rarely 50 lbs
  • Fine motor coordination and depth perception
  • Ability to hear equipment from a distance
  • Comfortable wearing gloves for prolonged periods due to bloodborne pathogen exposure
  • 1 or more years minimum experience in customer or patient-facing role is helpful

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer or patient-facing role preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage administrative duties
  • Basic computer proficiency

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Answer phones and greet visitors promptly exhibiting customer service skills
  • Assist donors with appointments and create or pull donor record files
  • Provide customer service to donors and fellow employees
  • Maintain orderly filing system and purge records as necessary
  • Report operational opportunities for continuous improvement to center management
  • Initiate changes to center processes using company approved procedures
  • Support the plasma center manager with administrative tasks
