Job Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Valid California driver’s license upon hire
  • Ability to work evening schedule including weekdays, weekends, holidays
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Ability to perform physical labor and operate cleaning machinery
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Commitment to safety and environmental care
  • Basic computer proficiency

Job Qualifications

  • Valid California driver’s license upon hire
  • Excellent guest service skills
  • Knowledge of safe work practices and policies
  • Familiarity with methods, materials, and equipment used in grounds keeping and custodial work
  • Ability to handle and use cleaning equipment and chemicals properly
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume team environment
  • Ability to safely operate carts and motor vehicles
  • Ability to operate power cleaning and heavy equipment safely
  • Ability to perform heavy manual labor effectively
  • Ability to complete work with minimal supervision

Job Duties

  • Communicate and collaborate using radio equipment to respond to issues and assist team members
  • Pull and reline trash, recycling, and compost receptacles, collect food trays, sort waste streams, and clean glass and mirrors
  • Clean and disinfect toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, floors, hand dryers, empty hygiene containers, vents, drains, partitions, and restock paper products
  • Clean walkways, streets, pathways by sweeping, hosing, using leaf blower, pushing puddles, and collecting debris
  • Maintain restaurant patios and lobbies by sweeping, vacuuming, scrubbing, mopping, wiping glass, removing cobwebs, dusting, and wiping surfaces
  • Maintain office cleanliness through vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitizing floors and surfaces, removing trash and recyclables, cleaning glass and windowsills, and proper disposal of red bags
  • Provide outstanding guest service by assisting with directions, providing information, and answering questions
  • Maintain floor cleanliness using deck brush, floor scrubber, mop, and cleaning chemicals
  • Drive society vehicle, load and unload items, and transport supplies to different locations
