Job Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license
  • At least 2 years of hotel sales experience or equivalent education and related experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to negotiate and close sales
  • Strong analytical and strategic abilities
  • Ability to work independently and multitask
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of progressive hotel sales experience preferred
  • or a 4-year college degree and at least 1 year of related experience
  • or a 2-year college degree and at least 2 years of related experience
  • Valid driver’s license in the applicable state
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to negotiate, sell, and influence clients
  • Thorough knowledge of professional selling skills including opening, probing, supporting, and closing
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic vision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer knowledge
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong organization and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and interact with diverse individuals
  • Advanced knowledge of sales, marketing, and hospitality principles
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure

Job Duties

  • Cast creative sales and marketing strategies to fill event spaces and boost revenue
  • Assemble, train, mentor, and inspire a diverse sales team
  • Develop budgets, forecast sales, and design innovative marketing campaigns
  • Conduct sales calls, client tours, and networking events to build strong customer relationships
  • Support hotel operations and assist the General Manager as the hotel’s ambassador
  • Maintain positive team morale and celebrate wins
  • Manage multiple tasks independently and ensure effective communication across departments
