Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- At least 2 years of hotel sales experience or equivalent education and related experience
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to negotiate and close sales
- Strong analytical and strategic abilities
- Ability to work independently and multitask
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years of progressive hotel sales experience preferred
- or a 4-year college degree and at least 1 year of related experience
- or a 2-year college degree and at least 2 years of related experience
- Valid driver’s license in the applicable state
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to negotiate, sell, and influence clients
- Thorough knowledge of professional selling skills including opening, probing, supporting, and closing
- Strong analytical skills and strategic vision
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer knowledge
- Ability to work independently
- Strong organization and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage and interact with diverse individuals
- Advanced knowledge of sales, marketing, and hospitality principles
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure
Job Duties
- Cast creative sales and marketing strategies to fill event spaces and boost revenue
- Assemble, train, mentor, and inspire a diverse sales team
- Develop budgets, forecast sales, and design innovative marketing campaigns
- Conduct sales calls, client tours, and networking events to build strong customer relationships
- Support hotel operations and assist the General Manager as the hotel’s ambassador
- Maintain positive team morale and celebrate wins
- Manage multiple tasks independently and ensure effective communication across departments
