Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous cooking experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekdays weekends and holidays
  • Willingness to comply with union requirements for open availability
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar cooking role preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Prepare food items including but not limited to salads fruits dressings fish items and appetizers according to designated recipes and quality standards
  • Prepare all food items according to standard recipes and/or as specified on guest check to ensure consistency of product to the guest
  • Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times
  • Manage guest orders in a friendly timely and efficient manner
  • Check and control the proper storage of product monitoring age and condition of all food items to rotate and maintain highest quality
  • Ensure knowledge of menu and food products
  • Stock and maintain designated food stations
  • Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen
  • Prepare daily prep lists for supplies and food items for production
  • Other duties as assigned
