Job Qualifications
- At least one year previous experience in a similar setting preferred
- valid Oregon cosmetology license to perform skincare services required
- at least one year customer service experience required
- strong passion for assisting guests in attaining their beauty and wellness goals
- excellent facial massage techniques
- thorough knowledge of the skin
- ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- willingness to train in specific spa facial treatment offerings
Job Duties
- Provide consistent professional facials and body treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices
- greet and welcome spa guests upon arrival
- report to posted schedule
- provide prompt service within the appropriate allotted time
- provide general resort information for guests
- attend resort and departmental meetings
- be flexible with schedules supporting the needs of the spa
- properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls
- have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products
- educate and train guests on services and products
- actively promote home care programs and meet retail sales goals
- uphold sanitation and sterilization standards as directed by law and spa policies
- perform prep work and properly clean and restock rooms
- communicate occurrences involving staff or guests to management
- promote the spa, treatments, services, clinics, and retail programs
- handle guest questions and concerns professionally
- provide accurate and prompt responses to guest requests ensuring satisfaction
- up sell other resort services and amenities
- maintain up to date knowledge of resort amenities and special events
- work without direct supervision
- maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a quality work environment
- regularly attend and participate in training and staff meetings for the spa
