Job Requirements
- Associates degree in related field
- Two years of food and beverage experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum two years previous supervisory experience required
- Ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate
- Must be proficient in Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
Job Qualifications
- Associates degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum two years of food and beverage experience
- Minimum two years of previous supervisory experience
- Ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues to resolve conflicts diplomatically
- Proficient in Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence
- Ability to perform basic math operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups
Job Duties
- Supervise an food and beverage outlet and manage the daily operations of a designated shift
- Create effective and efficient staff schedules while maintaining labor costs and meeting staffing objectives
- Assist in the budget process and ensure compliance with departmental budget initiatives
- Promote and demonstrate superior customer service and ensure standards are followed by all team members
- Enforce all gaming laws and regulations applicable to the food and beverage department
- Assist in the maintenance and development of food service procedures and inspect menu items for customer satisfaction
- Maintain cost control by monitoring consistent pars and inventory
- Assist with administrative duties assigned by the Food and Beverage Manager
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and report potential issues to management
- Maintain confidentiality in all departmental and company matters
