Job Requirements

  • Associates degree in related field
  • Two years of food and beverage experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum two years previous supervisory experience required
  • Ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
  • Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public

Job Qualifications

  • Associates degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum two years of food and beverage experience
  • Minimum two years of previous supervisory experience
  • Ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues to resolve conflicts diplomatically
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence
  • Ability to perform basic math operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division and interpret bar graphs
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups

Job Duties

  • Supervise an food and beverage outlet and manage the daily operations of a designated shift
  • Create effective and efficient staff schedules while maintaining labor costs and meeting staffing objectives
  • Assist in the budget process and ensure compliance with departmental budget initiatives
  • Promote and demonstrate superior customer service and ensure standards are followed by all team members
  • Enforce all gaming laws and regulations applicable to the food and beverage department
  • Assist in the maintenance and development of food service procedures and inspect menu items for customer satisfaction
  • Maintain cost control by monitoring consistent pars and inventory
  • Assist with administrative duties assigned by the Food and Beverage Manager
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and report potential issues to management
  • Maintain confidentiality in all departmental and company matters
