Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must comprehend written and verbal instructions in English
- Valid New Mexico driver’s license preferred
- Ability to work multiple shifts as needed
- Must be able to drive hospital vehicles if required
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must comprehend written and verbal instructions in English
- Valid New Mexico driver’s license preferred
- Experience in healthcare cleaning or environment services preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to follow infection control standards and guidelines
Job Duties
- Performs dismissal cleaning in assigned areas based on nursing priorities
- Documents completion of dismissal cleaning
- Completes daily cleaning of patient, public, and office areas according to standards
- Takes down and replaces cubicle curtains as scheduled or requested
- Maintains strict confidentiality
- Develops and maintains professional relationships with hospital personnel, co-workers, visitors, and patients
- Maintains hospital equipment in good repair and completes work orders for repairs
- Delivers clean linen to floors and picks up soiled linen to return to Linen Services
- Drives hospital vehicles as needed and as licensed and insured
- Reads and reviews infection control and general safety policies and guidelines
