Job Requirements

- Must comprehend written and verbal instructions in English
- Valid New Mexico’s driver’s license preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including multiple shifts
- Strong attention to detail
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Commitment to confidentiality and professional conduct
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions in English
- Valid New Mexico driver’s license preferred
- Experience in cleaning within a healthcare or similar environment is advantageous
- Understanding of infection control and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Performs dismissal cleaning in assigned areas based on nursing priority and infection control standards
- Documents completion of cleaning tasks
- Completes daily cleaning of patient areas, public areas, and offices according to set standards
- Takes down and replaces cubicle curtains as scheduled
- Maintains confidentiality at all times
- Develops and maintains professional working relationships with hospital staff and visitors
- Maintains hospital equipment and completes work orders for repairs
- Delivers clean linen and collects soiled linen for return to Linen Services
- Drives hospital vehicles as needed with proper licensing and insurance
- Reviews infection control policies and regulatory safety guidelines
