Job Requirements

  • must be 18 years of age or older
  • must have a reliable telephone and transportation
  • must treat all information as confidential
  • must have ability to work from verbal and written instructions
  • must be detail-oriented
  • must be able to lift, stoop, squat, push, stand, and bend throughout the shift
  • must be able to lift, carry, or hold up to 75 lbs
  • must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
  • must complete a criminal background check
  • must meet requirements to obtain a security sensitive identification badge
  • must be a US citizen or have necessary immigration authorization
  • must possess tact to deal with all levels of situations, client representatives, employees, and the public

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous airport and/or customer service experience preferred
  • previous radio or phone dispatch experience desirable
  • previous supervisory experience preferred
  • good working knowledge of office software applications such as word-processing, spreadsheets, and data management
  • excellent radio and telephone communication skills
  • ability to handle multiple situations simultaneously
  • ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English verbally and in writing
  • detail-oriented and able to perform with minimal supervision
  • tactful and professional interaction skills
  • knowledge of FAA, TSA, and airline regulations

Job Duties

  • Coordinate and distribute equipment to employees
  • work with client special services representatives to ensure all service requests are met
  • actively participate in the Safety Management System (SMS)
  • pull assignments or work orders from computer as needed
  • perform all reports accurately and timely
  • maintain knowledge of FAA, TSA, airline, and company regulations
  • keep supervisor informed of needs and problems in assigned areas
  • maintain cleanliness of work area and report maintenance needs
  • escalate issues to operations manager immediately
  • interact courteously with employees and passengers
  • communicate effectively with fellow employees
  • maintain service transactions in cabin service tracking program or appropriate format
  • create and generate service performance reports
  • respond to telephone and radio calls professionally and timely
  • maintain and distribute radios where applicable
  • complete documentation and reports thoroughly and timely
  • provide general information and directions to passengers
  • project a positive image and respond courteously to inquiries
  • attend meetings and inservices as required
  • utilize proper communications channels and maintain records and files
  • adhere to uniform and identification badge policies
  • comply with company policies and participate in achieving company objectives
  • use company and client equipment and resources conscientiously
  • perform other duties as requested
