Job Requirements
- Qualified to obtain an unrestricted Texas medical license
- Board certified or board eligible in child neurology
- Completed subspecialty training in epilepsy
- Completed accredited pediatric specialty training program
- Eligible for DEA licensure
- BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Commitment to long-term employment and cultural fit
Job Qualifications
- Board certified or board eligible in child neurology
- Subspecialty training in epilepsy
- Completed accredited pediatric specialty training program
- Experience with outpatient and inpatient pediatric neurology care
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong clinical decision-making and patient management skills
Job Duties
- Provide outpatient clinic consultations
- conduct inpatient neurology consultations
- manage epilepsy patients with comprehensive care
- collaborate with multidisciplinary neurology subspecialists
- participate in developing and caring for Epilepsy Monitoring Unit patients
- maintain on-call responsibilities on a 1:5 night and weekend schedule
- refer surgical epilepsy cases to main campus specialists
