Job Requirements

  • Qualified to obtain an unrestricted Texas medical license
  • Board certified or board eligible in child neurology
  • Completed subspecialty training in epilepsy
  • Completed accredited pediatric specialty training program
  • Eligible for DEA licensure
  • BLS certification from American Heart Association
  • Commitment to long-term employment and cultural fit

Job Qualifications

  • Board certified or board eligible in child neurology
  • Subspecialty training in epilepsy
  • Completed accredited pediatric specialty training program
  • Experience with outpatient and inpatient pediatric neurology care
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong clinical decision-making and patient management skills

Job Duties

  • Provide outpatient clinic consultations
  • conduct inpatient neurology consultations
  • manage epilepsy patients with comprehensive care
  • collaborate with multidisciplinary neurology subspecialists
  • participate in developing and caring for Epilepsy Monitoring Unit patients
  • maintain on-call responsibilities on a 1:5 night and weekend schedule
  • refer surgical epilepsy cases to main campus specialists
