Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- must pass pre employment and annual physical examination
- ability to follow instructions and complete brief training on chemical and tool use
- physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
- understanding of safety procedures related to chemical use
- previous experience in environmental cleaning is advantageous but not required
- reliable and punctual work ethic
Job Qualifications
- Must pass pre employment and annual physical examination
- ability to demonstrate correct use of chemicals supplies and tools after brief training
- previous environmental cleaning experience preferred
- understanding of potential chemical hazards and safety protocols
- good attention to detail and reliability
- willingness to work in a healthcare environment
Job Duties
- Daily cleaning of patient rooms wards and nursing stations
- cleaning lounges laboratories bathrooms and offices as assigned
- using cleaning devices including 16 oz wet mops small wringers dusters and household type vacuum cleaners
- using necessary tools products and supplies safely and effectively
- adhering to standard procedures of the Housekeeping Department
- following the facility's objectives for hygiene and safety
- ensuring compliance with the Department's Written Hazard Communication Program
