Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning preferred
- ability to physically lift 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently
- reliable and punctual
- ability to follow safety procedures when using chemicals
- availability to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends
Job Qualifications

- previous housekeeping or environmental services experience preferred
- ability to handle cleaning equipment and chemicals
- physical ability to exert required force levels
- good time management and organizational skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- clean resident rooms wards and nursing stations daily
- supply resident rooms and other areas with necessary materials
- clean lounges laboratories bathrooms and offices thoroughly
- use wet mops wringers dusters vacuum cleaners and cleaning chemicals safely
- operate commercial washers and dryers including lifting wet laundry
- attend hospital and departmental orientation upon hire
- adapt to varying shift times including some weekends and evenings
