Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
- ability to lift wet laundry into washers and dryers
- willingness to work varied shifts including weekends and evenings
- ability to attend hospital and departmental orientation
- basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous cleaning or housekeeping experience
- ability to use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely
- knowledge of sanitation and safety standards
- good physical condition with ability to lift weights
- reliable and punctual
- ability to follow instructions and work independently
Job Duties
- clean and supply resident rooms
- clean wards and nursing stations
- maintain lounges and laboratories
- sanitize bathrooms and offices
- use cleaning devices including wet mops, wringers, dusters, and vacuum cleaners
- operate commercial washers and dryers
- lift and move laundry and supplies as needed
