Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to exert 50 pounds of force occasionally 20 pounds frequently and 10 pounds constantly
  • capacity to use cleaning devices such as mops wringers dusters vacuum cleaners and cleaning chemicals
  • willingness to attend hospital and departmental orientation
  • availability to work full-time during evening hours 2 00 pm to 10 30 pm
  • physical ability to perform cleaning and housekeeping tasks in a hospital setting

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in janitorial or housekeeping duties preferred
  • ability to operate cleaning equipment proficiently
  • knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
  • strong attention to detail
  • physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor
  • effective communication skills

Job Duties

  • use cleaning devices including 16oz wet mops wringers dusters vacuum cleaners cleaning chemicals and other necessary tools products and supplies
  • exert physical force up to 50 pounds occasionally 20 pounds frequently and 10 pounds constantly
  • perform cleaning and housekeeping tasks in patient rooms hallways common areas and other hospital environments
  • ensure compliance with hospital hygiene and infection control standards
  • attend hospital and departmental orientation sessions upon hire
  • maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the facility
  • collaborate effectively with hospital staff and other team members
