Job Duties
- perform cleaning and sanitizing activities in designated areas including patient rooms, bathrooms, and common spaces
- maintain flooring care including cleaning, buffing, and applying floor sealer and floor finish
- vacuum, shampoo and extract carpets
- use and maintain power equipment and hand tools such as buffers, auto brooms, mops, squeegees
- provide waste collection and removal including biomedical waste, recycling, and cleaning trash chutes and receptacles
- mix and obtain cleaning solutions from dispensing systems and follow appropriate methods
- restock cleaning supplies and other items such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap
- carry out bed tracking tasks as needed
- report any maintenance or repair needs to management
