Job Duties
- Perform complete terminal cleaning and disinfecting in specialized sterile and semi-sterile environments
- Communicate with clinical staff regarding scheduled workloads to coordinate priority of cleaning
- Don appropriate personal protective equipment in unrestricted, semi restricted, and restricted areas and use appropriate traffic patterns
- Differentiate between standard and specialized equipment and clean according to hospital standard
- Recognize room setups and take steps to prevent the contamination of sterile fields
- Clean other areas as assigned
- Collaborate with others, organize well, accomplish tasks, solve problems and communicate effectively
