Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work weekends and flexible shifts
- Physical capability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Ability to adhere to infection control and safety policies
- Dependable and able to work independently
- Previous experience in environmental services or healthcare cleaning preferred

- Ability to follow established protocols and infection control procedures
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work weekends and flexible shifts
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with healthcare staff
Job Duties
- Cleans patient rooms and other assigned areas daily including collecting and removing trash changing bed linens and sanitizing all surfaces
- Follows policies and procedures on patient isolation
- Stocks paper items and other supplies in patient rooms as necessary or designated
- Maintains cart and equipment in clean working condition and stores in appropriate storage area when finished with shift
- Works with critical thinking skills and decisive judgement to operate with minimal supervision
- Takes appropriate action in a fast-paced environment
