Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One year of experience preferred
- DOT HAZMAT certification required within 90 days of employment
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to work safely with chemicals and equipment
- Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision
- Must demonstrate competency through assessments and evaluations
Job Qualifications

- Preferable state driver license
- Demonstrated skills to safely perform job duties
- Proficient in English speaking, reading, and writing

Job Duties
- Performs general and moderately complex cleaning tasks in assigned specialty areas
- Maintains environmental and infection control standards within policies and procedures
- Follows AORN standards for operating room turnover and terminal cleaning
- Uses floor maintenance equipment and chemicals safely
- Handles hazardous materials for appropriate disposal
- Sets up conference rooms and manages linen distribution and collection
- Interacts professionally with patients, family, and staff promoting a positive work environment
