Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- one year of cleaning or environmental services experience preferred
- must obtain DOT HAZMAT certification within 90 days
- ability to follow infection control standards and OSHA regulations
- capacity to handle hazardous materials responsibly
- must be able to communicate effectively in English
- ability to work part-time
- must wear uniform and scrubs
- willingness to participate in ongoing training and development
- ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Job Qualifications

- one year of experience preferred
- DOT HAZMAT certification within 90 days required
- driver license preferred
- ability to safely use housekeeping equipment and chemicals
- proficiency in English speaking, reading and writing

Job Duties
- perform general and moderately complex cleaning tasks in assigned areas
- maintain environmental and infection control standards
- follow AORN standards for procedure room cleaning
- operate floor maintenance equipment and use chemicals safely
- handle and dispose of hazardous materials properly
- set up conference rooms and manage linen distribution and collection
- communicate and document facility or patient-related issues
