Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- one year of related experience preferred
- ability to prioritize assignments and complete work in a timely manner
- capability to operate cleaning equipment
- ability to maintain cooperative relationships with co-workers
- willingness to work in fast-paced, stressful environments
- ability to work in contaminated, isolation and construction areas
- willingness to occasionally work in extreme temperatures and exposed to unpleasant odors
Job Qualifications

- able to operate cleaning equipment
- able to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers
Job Duties
- Performs complete cleaning of assigned areas including dusting and sanitizing furniture, equipment, mirrors and fixtures
- washing windows, walls, ceilings, vents and light fixtures
- sweeping, scrubbing and refinishing floors
- vacuuming and shampooing carpet
- re-stocking restrooms
- replacing light bulbs
- reporting repairs
- assists with outdoor cleaning including parking lot, windows, and roof
- removes waste by collecting and transporting soiled linen, emptying trash containers, changing sharps containers, transporting solid and hazardous waste to compactors, recycling material, emptying cigarette receptacles
- keeps equipment clean and orderly and reports equipment failures or mechanical issues
- maintains safe working environment by complying with safety, infection control, and departmental quality standards
- attends all required education and training classes including safety updates
- consistently meets time schedules and deadlines
