Job Requirements
- Ability to read and exchange information with patients and staff
- Basic arithmetic skills
- Availability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
- Ability to follow infection control and safety protocols
- Physical capability to perform cleaning and sanitation tasks
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in cleaning or environmental services preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Basic arithmetic skills
- Knowledge of infection control protocols is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Ensure hospital cleanliness and sanitation following infection control protocols
- Perform daily cleaning tasks including floor care, waste disposal, and surface disinfection
- Maintain adequate stock of cleaning supplies and report inventory needs
- Communicate effectively with patients and staff regarding cleaning activities
- Adhere to safety guidelines to prevent contamination and hazards
- Rotate through day, evening, and night shifts including weekends and holidays as scheduled
- Support additional shifts in registry as needed
