  • availability to work Monday through Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm and every other weekend
  • willingness to follow infection control guidelines and PPE use

  • commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • ability to acquire knowledge, skills and abilities relevant to healthcare environmental services
  • professionalism and strong customer service skills
  • knowledge of infection control and safety procedures preferred
  • ability to operate cleaning equipment and use personal protective equipment
  • capacity to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality

Job Duties

  • perform cleaning activities within a healthcare environment to meet infection control guidelines
  • handle soiled linen, regular and medical waste following safety protocols
  • maintain patient privacy and follow HIPAA guidelines
  • follow Environmental Services management directives and master required skills
  • use proper scripting and maintain professional communication with patients and staff
  • operate cleaning equipment and maintain a safe work environment
  • report safety issues promptly to supervisors
