Job Duties
- performs the full range of restroom cleaning and complete patient room cleaning following established protocols
- follows infection prevention protocols and selects appropriate chemicals for cleaning tasks
- cleans walls, doors, windows, furniture, equipment, and floors including dust mopping and wet mopping
- properly removes trash and linen adhering to waste stream guidelines
- consistently uses personal protective equipment and proper donning and doffing techniques
- complies with hospital and department policies and procedures
- safely uses Ultra Violet Light equipment
- places replacement liners in waste containers and secures them properly
