Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to communicate read and write in English
- Basic familiarity with computers preferred
- Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely
- Ability to follow safety protocols
- Ability to work full time
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform cleaning duties

Job Duties
- Maintain assigned area in an aseptically clean and aesthetically pleasing manner
- Remove soiled linen and waste from assigned area
- Clean and maintain hard floor surfaces including dust mop, wet mop, strip, wax and polish
- Clean and maintain carpeted floors including vacuum, shampoo and extract
- Clean and sanitize fittings and furniture
- Clean walls, ceilings and vents
- Clean inside glass in assigned area
- Follow security measures when cleaning medication rooms and refrigerators respecting medication inventory control
- Utilize tools, equipment and supplies to obtain maximum efficiency and safety
- Demonstrate knowledge of safe and proper use of housekeeping equipment
- Handle cleaning chemicals safely and economically using protective equipment when necessary
- Maintain and report damaged or dangerous equipment
- Assist with conference room setups as required
- Complete all job assignments per scheduled requirements efficiently and safely
- Demonstrate effective use of time completing daily schedule
- Communicate effectively, openly and respectfully to all customers
- Establish open communication with customers, co-workers and supervisors
- Report unsafe conditions in work area to appropriate supervisor
- Participate in educational programs and in-service meetings
