Job Requirements

  • Minimum six months cleaning experience
  • ability to stand and walk for up to ten hours continuously
  • ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
  • ability to reach, kneel and bend
  • effective communication skills in English
  • punctuality and reliable attendance
  • ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • ability to maintain professional behavior
  • ability to interact positively with guests and team members

Job Qualifications

  • Six months cleaning experience
  • high school diploma or G.E.D. is desirable
  • housekeeping experience in a golf resort is desirable
  • working knowledge of cleaning chemicals
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • ability to read in English
  • physical stamina to stand and walk for up to ten hours
  • ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
  • ability to reach, kneel and bend
  • ability to appear for work on time
  • ability to interact effectively with team members and guests
  • ability to maintain professionalism and composure
  • ability to understand and follow verbal and written directions
  • ability to accept constructive criticism
  • multilingual is desirable

Job Duties

  • Provide guests with clean and orderly outside public areas by cleaning tables and surrounding areas
  • empty ashtrays and trash receptacles
  • keep pathways free of trash and other debris
  • clean restrooms, mirrors, toilets, wipe shelves, refill toilet paper, paper towels and other sundries
  • replace trash liners
  • mop floors
  • clean tables and chairs
  • vacuum carpets
  • dispose of boxes, trash and other debris as required
  • fill water stations with fresh drinking water and ice according to established procedures
