Job Requirements
- u.s. citizenship
- suitable for federal employment as determined by background investigation
- pre-employment physical required
- selective service registration required for males born after 12/31/1959
- completion of online onboarding process
- submission of required documents
- ability to serve one-year probationary period
- capability to perform physical duties including walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, pulling, and pushing
- willingness to work Monday-Friday 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm
- adherence to vaccination policies including influenza immunization or approved exemption
Job Qualifications
- evidence of training or experience demonstrating ability to perform housekeeping duties
- experience with cleaning and maintenance in a healthcare or similar environment preferred
- ability to use cleaning tools and machinery
- capacity to work full-time second shift
- ability to maintain attention to detail and safety protocols
- no specific educational requirement
Job Duties
- cleaning wards, patient rooms, storerooms, offices, corridors, restrooms, shower rooms, and other areas
- sweeping, mopping, scrubbing floors with machines
- vacuuming carpets and upholstered furniture
- emptying waste baskets
- cleaning light globes and Venetian blinds, washing walls, windows and ceilings by climbing small ladders
- refilling toilet tissue and towel dispensers
- moving furniture
