Job Requirements

  • housekeeping experience utilizing basic housekeeping practices and procedures
  • proper handling and disposal of infectious waste
  • proper safety skills in handling of housekeeping chemicals
  • ability to converse, comprehend and communicate verbally in English
  • ability to work tactfully and effectively with team members, patient and visitors
  • ability to maintain confidentiality of issues and materials designed as such

Job Qualifications

  • housekeeping experience utilizing basic housekeeping practices and procedures
  • experience in proper handling and disposal of infectious waste
  • knowledge of safety skills in handling housekeeping chemicals
  • ability to converse, comprehend and communicate verbally in English
  • ability to work tactfully and effectively with team members, patients and visitors
  • ability to maintain confidentiality
  • acute healthcare work experience involving use of heavy equipment such as buffers, extractors, wide area vacuums, and wet vacuums preferred

Job Duties

  • perform a variety of cleaning tasks necessary to maintain and improve the appearance and sanitary conditions of all campuses
  • utilize basic housekeeping practices and procedures
  • properly handle and dispose of infectious waste
  • safely handle housekeeping chemicals
  • operate heavy equipment such as buffers, extractors, wide area vacuums, and wet vacuums
  • communicate effectively in English
  • work tactfully and effectively with team members, patients, and visitors
  • maintain confidentiality of sensitive issues and materials
