Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in cleaning or environmental services preferred
- Ability to adhere to infection control and sanitation protocols
- Good physical health and ability to perform strenuous physical activity
- Ability to work evenings
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in environmental services or healthcare cleaning preferred
- Ability to understand and follow safety and infection control guidelines
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties including lifting and standing for extended periods
Job Duties
- Clean patient rooms and other assigned areas daily including collecting and removing trash changing bed linens and sanitizing all surfaces
- Follow policies and procedures on patient isolation
- Stock paper items and other supplies in patient rooms as necessary or designated
- Maintain cart and equipment in clean working condition and store in appropriate storage area when finished with shift
- Use critical thinking skills and decisive judgement to work with minimal supervision
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Take appropriate action as needed
